B.G. Thomas is an American author and former television news reporter. He served as a reporter for the Waco Tribune-Herald and the San Antonio News Express, and was a general assignment reporter at WFAA-TV in Dallas and KENS-TV in San Antonio. He was one of the youngest news anchors in the nation when he joined KENS-TV in 1969
He also worked at KLTV in Tyler, Texas. From 1977 to 1999, he was a correspondent for the National Public Radio affiliate in Dallas, KERA-FM. He is the author of two books: A Matter of Principle: A Moral Code to Live By (2011) and The Essence of Leadership (2007).
